Provincial Grand Lodge of Leicestershire & Rutland

We are pleased to introduce our Provincial website with our coat of Arms.
The Coat of Arms has been  adopted by the Province as from the early part of  2000, which happily coincided with the year of launch of our presence on the World Wide Web.

For reference, a copy of our old crest is shown at the top left hand corner of this page.

Our new crest incorporates the Arms of Grand Lodge and has a bordure of Heraldic emblems that are associated with our two Counties of Leicestershire and Rutland. These emblems are the cinquefoils, horseshoes, acorns and the lion of DeMontfort. Our crest has been approved by the College of Arms and proved a colourful new addition to our Provincial Grand Lodge as we entered the 21st Century.
